Assistive technology is a generic term used for a wide range of software and hardware designed for disabled people to assist with everyday tasks in both work and home life.

These products can be standalone products created to serve a specific purpose, or products that improve access to other devices, such as improving the computers, or technologies that are built into mainstream products.
