Volunteer for VICTA Children

VICTA

Can you help VICTA support children and young people who are blind or partially sighted?

At VICTA we run a busy calendar of activities throughout the year which promote independence and confidence in the children and young people we support. These activities wouldn’t be possible without the help of our fantastic volunteers and we are currently looking for new people to join our volunteer network.

There are many fantastic volunteering opportunities on offer ranging from supporting in our creche at the early years weekend to helping on international trips.

In particular we are currently looking for volunteers aged 18 or over to help on our Spring Family Weekend on the Dorset Coast. These weekends are always a lot of fun and volunteers are asked to support the children as they take part in exciting outdoor activities such as raft building, abseiling and rock climbing.

Our spring weekend takes place on 27 to 30 May at PGL Osmington Bay Activity Centre, Dorset. You can find all the details about volunteering on this activity here: www.victa.org.uk/volunteering/volunteers-spring-family-weekend/

For a full list of our activities on offer or to sign up as a volunteer, please visit our volunteer area: www.victa.org.uk/victa-volunteer-area/

Or give us a call on 01908 240 831.

Join the fun!
